Electronic Itinerary Receipts (ITR)

As from the 01 st December 2008, the Itinerary Receipt (ITR) is available for the life of the e-ticket record in the issuing office, unlike previously where it was available up to 7 days after the electronic ticket was issued. This will allow the travel consultant to display, print or email an ITR regardless of whether a PNR is still active.

In line with ATPCO's guidelines, Amadeus has improved the default validating carrier selection logic in the frame of YQ/YR surcharges processing. Specificities have been assessed according to all types of users impacted by the process of validating carrier.

The LPO entry allows Amadeus users to search for bookings made within their office with a number of search criteria, which can be very useful when there is an impending airline strike or to check any un-ticketed PNR’s.

It is now possible to complete Australian Visa’s (ETA’s) in the graphical side of Amadeus. This will enable you to issue an ETA within seconds. Click on the “i” icon as per the screen shot below, then click the Australian Visa Request and hit send.
